This award will be presented to the leasing company with over 20,000 vehicles that can demonstrate policies and an ethos that focuses on sustainability, emissions-reduction and the transition to net zero.

2023 Winner: Volkswagen Financial Services Fleet

VWFS Fleet has made substantial investments to continue supporting fleets of all sizes with their EV transition with its EVolve proposition – which offers support for fleets, including a host of tools, solutions, services and advice.  VWFS Fleet has achieved exceptional organic growth – 43 per cent between 2016 and 2022 – with its fleet now at 205,176 vehicles. Its ongoing work to strengthen its EVolve proposition has had significant environmental impacts,  with a 58 per cent CO2 deduction across its order bank between 2020 and 2022, and EV orders growing ahead of industry averages.  An example of VWFS Fleet’s decarbonisation success is with customer Wincanton, which resulted in an 18 per cent CO2 deduction, where the customer’s carbon footprint has reduced from 100g/km to 71g/km in the last 12 months.
