Every January, the UK fleet sector awaits a big announcement… A shout out from the UK’s leading magazine that addresses clean fleet issues, that recognizes the ‘movers and shakers that are helping shape the sector as we strive for that ‘Net-Zero Goal’… They all want to know… Who will make the GF100?
The GF100 is our pick of the most influential people that have shaped the zero and ultra-low emission fleet industry over the previous year. ‘The 100’ is a mix of fleet managers, vehicle manufacturers, government figures, campaigners and company bosses that have all done something to make a positive impact on the industry. First published 3 years ago, 2020 proved a pivotal point in the importance of ‘The 100’ as social media went into meltdown when the most recent list was published. And that got us thinking…
Wouldn’t it be great if we could bring together the cleanest-thinking and most innovative minds in the industry? Get them into a room… together… so we could hear their thoughts and visions for a cleaner sector, as we move towards the UK governments goal of Net-Zero… Have the ‘Top 10’ take the stage and address the UK, with audience interaction, knowledge-sharing and thought-leadership. At the same time, we would like those that didn’t quite make ‘The 100’ to join us too… To hear from their peers, learn… And aspire to push harder, in the hope of getting recognition themselves in the future. And all of this with one goal… To help shape a cleaner future for the UK fleet sector.
Well, now we can… And we will do so under the guidance of LinkedIn’s ‘No1 Voice for EV’, in the world… Roger Atkins. With more than 300,000 dedicated followers on LinkedIn, his posts received more than 5 million views in 2019 alone. When we’re bringing you the most influential people in UK fleet, it seems fitting to bring you the most influential ‘EV Voice’ in the world to host the event. So, make sure you join Roger, and us, for GF100 LIVE. Reserving your place is simple…

WHY SHOULD YOU BE JOINING US ON THE DAY?
The Government’s 'Road to Zero' strategy outlines how the government will support the transition to zero emission road transport and reduce emissions from conventional vehicles during the transition. The strategy is long term in scope and ambition, supporting the Clean Growth Industrial Strategy and considers the change, opportunities and risks up to 2050 and beyond. To achieve this, the UK needs to discourage the use of older, more polluting vehicles and reduce the number of areas in the UK where air pollution breaches legal limits.
Where are these reductions required? Within YOUR Business! City by city, the GREENFLEET events are helping local, regional and transport authorities kick-start their 'Clean Air Strategies’. We DELIVER the strategy at a local level… The strategies outlined from the people you will hear from at GF100 LIVE!
Take the 'ULEV Journey', together...
Ultra-Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs) have a significant role to play in cleaning up the air. Most authorities have a strategy, and for those that don’t… They need one. There is no need to do this alone... The GF100 will highlight how YOUR AUTHORITY and the UK GOVERNMENT can help YOUR business embark on a 'ULEV Journey', together!

WHO SHOULD JOIN US ON THE DAY?
If YOU are in The 100, then you need to be there. We want to hear from you and your peers want to too. And why not show your colleague just WHY you are ‘one of the chosen’? Invite them to join us… Join you… And help them better understand your vision.
Making the switch to a cleaner transport operation is not straight-forward and involves more than just the Fleet Manager. We recognise that and reflect this in the content and speakers we have lined up. So here’s who needs to join us on the day, to enable you to engage across your business and make the right decisions, at the right time:
Fleet and Transport Managers are those on the ‘front line’… The people that are responsible for the daily function of the vehicles. They need to understand what clean options are now on the market, whether or not they can perform what is required, and also how to make the transition from diesel to electric.
None of this is possible, without having the capability to recharge the vehicles, once obtained. And each premises is different. Estates & Facilities professionals need to be involved in the process, right from the get-go, and joining us on the day will help you understand what workplace charging options are out there, and also what the power implications are too… As well as the government assistance that is available to make it all possible.
Most organisations have an environmental and sustainability policy and/or strategy in place. Not only to meet the demands of your own business, but also to compete in the UK business sector too. Many organisations have a strict ‘green purchasing policy’ in place and if you don’t have the ‘green box ticked’, you simply won’t win the business. So, make sure that your environmental policy departments are up to date with all the options available to ensure that you CAN compete, moving forward.
Finance & Procurement… NOTHING is possible without the over-riding say-so of those that make the financial decisions for the business. They need to understand the financial benefits that can be gained from embracing this technology, and at the same time, how it can also benefit the employees, from a tax and financial point of view too.
So, make sure you ENGAGE your colleagues, INTERNALLY. A couple of hours out of their day can make a MASSIVE impact on the future of YOUR BUSINESS…
This event will not only help you make an ‘educated decision’ on how to implement a strategy and plan… It will help you integrate this innovative technology, with a view to playing your part in the UK’s push for cleaner, smarter future… Plus, it will also show you how you can SAVE MONEY at the same time! Add to that, that this event is FREE TO ATTEND, ONLINE, and there really is no reason why you shouldn’t APPLY FOR A PLACE NOW!
