This award celebrates the alternative fuel provider (gas, hydrogen, LPG, HVO) that can demonstrate an innovative approach to helping fleets of all sizes reduce emissions by adopting alternative fuels.

2023 Winner: Certas Energy

Certas Energy HVO is a drop-in alternative diesel made from renewable raw materials and sustainable waste from verified vegetable fats and oils. Certas Energy has switched  its own fleet to HVO, and has been featured as a case study in Zemo’s latest Renewable Fuels guide, demonstrating the power of the renewable diesel to decarbonise heavy duty vehicle fleets. Certas Energy is also a Recognised Fuel Supplier under Zemo’s Renewable Fuels Assurance Scheme (RFAS). Certas Energy will also provide assistance to Royal Mail with its roll-out of HVO for its HGVs, and has launched a HVO delivery service, to make it easier for businesses.
