Peter is Cenex’s most senior technologist specialising in consultancy and project leadership roles. His role involves in-depth research on the prospects for emerging low and zero emission vehicle and infrastructure technologies, and since 2010 he has led on delivery of Cenex’s hydrogen and fuel cell projects.

In recent years, Peter has led on several Cenex high-profile emergency fleet decarbonisation projects, including the NHS Net Zero Transport and Travel Strategy, which set out a clear roadmap for decarbonisation of the NHS fleet by 2040, and RESPONSE (Robust Emergency Services Performing Operations in Electric) which identified key enablers towards the creation of a comprehensive zero-emission (ZE) emergency service operations planning and dispatch system.

A PRINCEII Certified Practitioner and trained database programmer, he uses this expertise to provide support across the Cenex project portfolio. He has also undertaken postdoctoral work at the Universities of California, Berkeley and Manchester and has an Open University MBA.
