After 10 very successful years of continuous growth, ‘The Fleet Event for Scotland’ returns, with a fresh new look and format. And for the first time, we will not only be taking ultra-low emission vehicle technology just to Edinburgh… Aberdeen will also have its very own version too.

Since we launched the event back in 2009, more than 3,000 fleet, transport, HR, environmental and sustainability professionals have joined us to hear the very latest Scottish transport and emissions legislation and discover which solutions can help them run a more efficient transport operation. As a result, we are proud to say that the event has played a significant role in helping Scotland become a ‘beacon of excellence’, in the UK… A region that the rest of the UK can look to and learn from.

Much of the success is down to the continued vision, action and support of Transport Scotland and Energy Saving Trust. And credit to them, they are not about to sit back and relax… They recognise that this is an on-going issue, with continued room for development and improvement, and as a result, we have worked hard to bring you a new-look GREENFLEET SCOTLAND in 2019. This year we will bring you the very latest from our ‘Partners’ above, together with the ‘Host Cities’ themselves, so as a delegate, you will not only hear about the latest national strategy, but also a more local one too, from City of Edinburgh Council and Aberdeen City Council.

Murrayfield Stadium

2019 sees the event have a new ‘home’ to go with its new look and theme. Murrayfield Stadium, the "Home of Scottish Rugby", will host the event this year, on Friday 12 April. As a delegate, you can expect a highly informative day, packed full of networking, knowledge-sharing, round table discussions and, of course, test drives.

PARTNERS

We have lined-up a group of keynote speakers, with our partners, to ensure that you get to hear the very latest on national and local strategies, grants and schemes that can help you make the ‘switch to a cleaner fleet’, and more. Transport Scotland and Energy Saving Trust will deliver keynotes, and are also lining up other authoritative voices too, and you can see the latest speaker line-up HERE.  From a more local perspective, you will hear from the City of Edinburgh’s Cllr Lesley MacInnes, outlining the city’s vision for a cleaner future, together with others that will outline the ‘measures’ being taken, and what the future holds, with the probable introduction of a Low Emission Zone.

If you work within the public sector, then we have you covered. Key representatives from Crown Commercial Service and Scotland Excel will be there on the day and will be able to give you the very latest on the frameworks. Some of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers will be on-hand, as will charge point suppliers and others with innovative technology and solutions that can all be utilised, ensuring that YOUR transport operation is as clean and efficient as possible.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY

The event will be geared to YOU… Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the GREENFLEET team and they will process your DVLA information, if you haven’t done it prior to the event, and hand you your very own ‘Personalised Agenda’. This will outline your day, with timings, where you need to be, etc. This is designed to ensure that when your ‘interactive day’ comes to an end, you will have had an experience that will garner you with the information and tools required to make an ‘educated decision’ on where you go next, on your ultra-low emission journey.

KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS

The day begins with a series of keynote presentations from our Event Partners Transport Scotland and Energy Saving Trust on the national, Scottish strategy, City of Edinburgh Council Aberdeen City Council on local LEZ plans and Crown Commercial Service and Scotland Excel on the latest Framework information.

The manufacturers will be there, offering an insight in to what innovative vehicle technology is on the market NOW, and what’s in the pipeline.

SEMINAR SESSIONS

The seminar session is wrapped up with a Q&A, where YOU get the chance to air your thoughts, and interact with the Speakers themselves.

NETWORKING

Share your thoughts and knowledge with experts in legislation, strategy, vehicle technology, charging solutions, leasing and financing and innovative technology. Our breakfast, refreshments breaks, and lunch are all designed to put YOU together, in a relaxed, but professional atmosphere, where you can talk to the people that can help you and your business move down a ‘road-2-zero’!

GROUP SESSIONS

The late morning and afternoon elements of the event will be structured in private, 30-minute sessions. You will be given your very own ‘Personalised Agenda’, designed to ensure that your day is structured, and allows you to engage with experts, and at the same time, ‘experience’ some of the latest technology, first-hand.

TEST DRIVES

It’s one thing being told that these ULEVs can do this, do that, save you £X-amount, etc. but do they really? We believe that having the opportunity to ‘experience’ the vehicles first-hand, by driving them in normal, everyday conditions, is the best way to make your mind up. Part of your Personalised Agenda will give you the opportunity to test drive the very latest in clean car, van and truck technology.

LUNCH & REFRESHMENTS

Your day begins with some breakfast, tea and coffee, and ends in the same way. ‘Sandwiched’ in the middle will be refreshment breaks, as well as a lovely buffet lunch, all designed to ensure that you’re refreshed and fulfilled… And it’s FREE!

MONEY

This event will not only help you make an ‘educated decision’ on how to integrate this innovative technology, with a view to playing your part in the city’s push for cleaner air… but it will also show you how you can SAVE MONEY at the same time! Add to that, that this event is FREE TO ATTEND, and there really is no reason why you shouldn’t REGISTER NOW… Reserve your place at GREENFLEET Scotland

Proven to ensure that every delegate leaves these events with the knowledge and tools required to make an ‘educated decision’ on how to integrate ULEV technology in to their fleet operation, attending a GREENFLEET SCOTLAND event is a MUST if you are looking to make changes that will help improve air quality in your region, help you navigate through new LEZ legislation (if being implemented) and also save money on your operational costs.

BOTH of the GREENFLEET SCOTLAND events are FREE to attend, so Reserve your place NOW!
