We are delighted to bring you a line-up of experts that are presenting on the day. You will hear from senior people from the Event Hosts, Glasgow City Council, Transport Scotland and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles, on their nation Road to Zero Strategy, together with Scotland Excel and the Crown Commercial Service on the very latest developments in the Fleet, Electric Vehicle and Leasing Frameworks. In terms of the industry, and what it is doing to help combat Air Quality issues, we have the SMMT’s EV Group on-hand to help tell you what’s here and what’s coming.

Kate Armitage - Host & GREENFLEET Ambassador

Kate specialises in Electric Vehicles, Recharging Infrastructure and Energy Retailing and was the first recipient of the GREENFLEET EV Champion Award in 2014.

Andy Mouat

Principal Officer – Carbon Management, Glasgow City Council
Andy Mouat spent 5 years working in consultancy as a specialist before making the move into the public sector and joining the Glasgow City Council Carbon Management team in 2011. In 2013 Andy was promoted to the position of Principal Officer – Carbon Management, with the remit of running the Carbon Management Team and achieving the Council’s carbon reduction targets.

Natasha Robinson

Joint Head, OLEV
With job share partner Vicky Edmonds, Natasha heads the Government’s Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) - a cross-Whitehall team which is responsible for placing the UK at the forefront of development and deployment of zero emission vehicles. 

Chris Champion

Senior Delivery Lead (Fleets), Low Carbon Economy Directorate, Transport Scotland
Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the automotive and transport sectors.  He carried out award winning research in to electric vehicle disruption, as part of his Master’s degree in Business Administration, before joining Transport Scotland.

Kevin Teague

Project Officer of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure, Glasgow City Council
Kevin Teague joined Glasgow City Council as an apprentice electrician at the age of 16. He worked within the street lighting department, repairing and maintaining street lighting before moving to the role of inspector.  In 2019 he joined the Carbon Management team as a Project Officer of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure.

Ryan Robertson

EV Infrastructure Officer, East Lothian Council
Ryan Robertson, EV Infrastructure Officer, has been in the forefront of developing and expanding the EV charging network across the county in recent years and East Lothian Council is now one of the leading Local Authorities when it comes to the number of accessible EV chargepoints.

Ellie Grebenik

Senior Programme Manager, Energy Saving Trust
Ellie Grebenik joined EST in August 2017 and has managed the delivery of the Scottish Workplan covering programmes such as Business and Consumer Transport Advice, Fuel Efficient driver techniques, loans and grants for ULEVs and charging infrastructure, and Switched on @Work workshops.

Sophie Lyons

Head of EV Infrastructure Strategy, OLEV
Sophie has recently joined the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) as Head of EV Infrastructure Strategy. Before joining OLEV, she was a consultant at Element Energy, working across a wide range of energy decarbonisation topics, including transport, heat, and industry.

James Mackintosh

Public Sector Manager (Toyota & Lexus) - Toyota GB PLC
James joined Toyota in November 2018, to oversee the north of the UK, handling their public sector fleet and business customers. With extensive experience in the fleet industry under his belt, through his time with Nissan GB and JCT600, his knowledge has become integral in communicating Toyota’s Self Charging Hybrid Technology to SME’S and Public sector organisations across the north and Scotland.

Jon Hunt

Manager, Alternative Fuels, Toyota (GB) plc 
Jon Hunt has worked in the automotive industry for 30 years, and is currently the Manager for Alternative Fuels at Toyota where he has worked for over 26 years in a variety of sales and marketing roles in the UK and Europe for both the Toyota and Lexus Brands.

Lorraine Fellowes

Kia Motors
Lorraine Fellowes has had over 18 years experience in the automotive industry.  She has experience in all routes to market, however her main focus has always been within fleet and corporate.

Dominic Gill

National Leasing and Residual Value Manager, Volvo Car UK
Dominic has worked for Volvo for 20 years in a variety of different roles and is currently heading up Volvo Car UK’s Leasing and Residual Value team. He and his team are responsible for Volvo’s relationships with the FN50 and key Residual Value setters; ensuring that Volvo’s products are well positioned to optimise sales in the Fleet channel.

Stephen Rennie

Sales Director for Scotland, Connected Kerb
Stephen has worked in the electric vehicle industry in Scotland for the last 10 years. Initially this was spend with the Energy Saving Trust, setting up and managing grant schemes for domestic, workplace and local authority chargepoints. After a time managing the transport team in Scotland, Stephen moved to consulting and delivered projects on car club feasibility, biodiesel, CNG and EVs with Transport and Travel Research. 

Stewart Ballantyne

LeasePlan UK
Stewart joined LeasePlan UK in 2018 and has over 25 years of experience in Vehicle Leasing. During this time, he has worked in both New Business and Relationship Management roles across a diverse range of clients operating cars, vans and also specialist vehicle/HGV fleets within a varied range of industry sectors. Stewart manages the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland territories for LeasePlan covering both Corporate and Public Sector opportunities within LeasePlan’s New Business Sales team.

Andy Edwards

Andy Edwards has over 10 years’ experience in the telematics industry and has been Regional Field Sales Manager at Quartix for 8 years, supporting private and public sector organisations across Northern England and Scotland.

Sukky Choongh

Environmental Manager – Air Quality and Ultra Low Emission Vehicles, Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT).
Sukky Choongh graduated from Kings College London in 2010 with an MSc in Environmental Health. She joined SMMT in July 2017 as Environmental Manager for Air Quality and Ultra-Low Emission Vehicles.

Mike Haran

Mike has worked in the automotive business for the last 27 years, 26 of them in Ford Dealers. He worked briefly in aftersales followed by a long career in car and predominantly commercial vehicle sales.
