Our speakers are all considered to be at the top of their game and, collectively, have most of the tools you need to ensure that you will be able to reach your net zero targets. Here’s who will be joining us on the day:

Roger Atkins

Managing Director, Electric Vehicles Outlook & GF100 Host
Roger has been advising and shaping electric vehicle development around the world for some time, with his work on LinkedIn over many years rewarded with an audience of well over a quarter of a million followers.

Natasha Robinson

Joint Head, OZEV
With job share partner Vicky Edmonds, Natasha heads the Government’s Office of Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) - a cross-Whitehall team which is responsible for placing the UK at the forefront of development and deployment of zero emission vehicles. 

Poppy Welch

Head, Go Ultra Low
Poppy has been Head of Go Ultra Low for nearly six years, prior to which, she worked in Marketing for well-known brands such as Vodafone, Ford, Sky and Samsung. Go Ultra Low is a joint government and industry campaign supported by the Office of Zero Emission Vehicles, vehicle manufacturers, energy providers and the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

Helen Lees

Head of Free2Move Mobility & Connected Services, Stellantis
Following its merger with what is now known as Stellantis, Groupe PSA has been home for Helen Lees for more than 4 years. Previously she headed Electric Vehicles & Connected Services for the Group and so her current role has been a natural transition.

Richard Turnbull

Head of Wireless Charging & Innovation Projects, Connected Kerb
Richard’s role with Connected Kerb sees him supporting the transition towards zero emission mobility through charging infrastructure, innovation and strategic partnerships. The Connected Kerb smart cities platform integrates both power and data at kerbside to support electric and autonomous vehicles, and the application of advanced IoT technologies.

Robert Evans

CEO, Cenex
Robert Evans is CEO of Cenex, a not-for-profit consultancy and research organisation with a strategic focus on supporting supply chain and market development for Automated, Electric, Connected and Shared mobility.   

Graeme Cooper

Project Director, National Grid
Graeme leads National Grid’s work on the decarbonisation of transport. His work helps the Government, the energy and automotive industry’s transition towards zero-emission vehicles.

Jason Torrance

Policy Director, UK100
Jason has been with UK100 since April 2018, as Policy Director. He has previously worked at Greenpeace, Sustrans and Campaign for Better Transport, and has also been seconded into the Department for Transport to advise on walking and cycling and has co-chaired a stakeholder advisory group for Highways England.

Dan Bentham

UK Managing Director, ubitricity
Dan Bentham MEng CEng MEI Chartered Energy Engineer, has worked in the low carbon energy sector for over 15 years and currently the leads the UK business at ubitricity. He started his career in the research and development of low carbon technology later joining EDF Energy to lead low carbon product development, service delivery and research, covering topics such as Smart Cities, Future Energy Markets, Decentralised Energy and Electric Mobility

Steve Imm

Head of Transport, Gloucestershire Constabulary
Steve Imm is the Head of Transport Services at Gloucestershire Constabulary. He started his career in the public sector in 2010 joining as a Custody Detention Officer before climbing the ranks to become Contract Manager in 2015.  In 2018 his career took a turn when he was recruited to the role of Head of Transport.  

Simon King

Director of Sustainability, Social Value and Fleet, Mitie
Simon’s experience in procurement, sustainability, commercial and operations has him well placed for his current position at Mitie. Fully understanding the challenges fleet operators face making the switch to EVs, Simon specialises in Electric Transition and brings commercial understanding and strategic thinking.

Sam Clarke

Chief Vehicle Officer, GRIDSERVE
Sam founded the fully EV last-mile logistics company Gnewt in 2009 which was subsequently acquired by Menzies Distribution Ltd. During his tenure, he created the UK’s largest fully EV commercial fleet, privately-owned smart charging infrastructure system and fully operational V2G network. Sam was a 2015 winner at the Great British Entrepreneurs Awards and in 2020, he was voted #36 in the greenfleet.net top 100 Most Influential in Low Carbon Fleets.
