EV Transition Specialist, Scottish Water
Stephen has worked in the electric vehicle industry in Scotland for the last 10 years. Initially this was spend with the Energy Saving Trust, setting up and managing grant schemes for domestic, workplace and local authority chargepoints. After a time managing the transport team in Scotland, Stephen moved to consulting and delivered projects on car club feasibility, biodiesel, CNG and EVs with Transport and Travel Research.

During this time, he has worked in both New Business and Relationship Management roles across a diverse range of clients operating cars, vans and also specialist vehicle/HGV fleets within a varied range of industry sectors. Stewart manages the North of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland territories for LeasePlan covering both Corporate and Public Sector opportunities within LeasePlan’s New Business Sales team.

Chris has over 20 years’ experience in the automotive and transport sectors.  He carried out award winning research in to electric vehicle disruption, as part of his Master’s degree in Business Administration, before joining Transport Scotland.

Simon King

Director of Sustainability, Social Value and Fleet, Mitie
Simon’s experience in procurement, sustainability, commercial and operations has him well placed for his current position at Mitie. Fully understanding the challenges fleet operators face making the switch to EVs, Simon specialises in Electric Transition and brings commercial understanding and strategic thinking.

James Mackintosh

Public Sector Manager (Toyota & Lexus) - Toyota GB PLC
James joined Toyota in November 2018, to oversee the north of the UK, handling their public sector fleet and business customers. With extensive experience in the fleet industry under his belt, through his time with Nissan GB and JCT600, his knowledge has become integral in communicating Toyota’s Self Charging Hybrid Technology to SME’S and Public sector organisations across the north and Scotland.

Calum Mathieson

Cleaner EV Ltd, established in 2019, is a small team that takes great pride in the personalised service they provide. serving the commercial EV market, they aim to be market leaders in electric charging point installations and help the UK become EV ready. Their work has included the roll-out of Transport Scotland's charging infrastructure and Charge Place Scotland's national EV network.

Owain Mortimer is Technology & Innovation Manager at the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). Owain works closely on the decarbonisation and automation policy agendas, focusing on the challenges industry faces in these areas and the technological innovations needed to reach these goals.

Carl Stanton

Fleet Sales Manager, Volvo Car UK
Carl has worked in the Motor industry  for over 25 years in a variety of different roles in the UK and Europe in both Fleet and Retail. He is responsible for Volvo’s relationships with the key FN50 and also Fleets of over 50 vehicles; ensuring that Volvo’s products are well positioned to optimise sales in the Fleet channel.

Iain MacLeod

Technical Manager, Energy Saving Trust
Iain MacLeod is a technical manager in Energy Saving Trust’s Edinburgh transport team. After obtaining a master’s in Renewable Energy Development from Heriot Watt University, he started working at Energy Saving Trust in 2014. His work is focused on facilitating Scotland’s transition to electric vehicles.

Sigmund Craig-Gould

Travel Manager, NatureScot
Sigmund has 14 years’ experience managing NatureScots vehicle fleet.  He has overseen its transformation of the fleet, putting the organisation at the forefront in the Scottish Public Sector in the move to electric vehicles. He has enabled the organisation to be in a position where they should have 85% of cars/vans being electric by the end of 2021/22, along with EV charging points at the majority of sites.

Grant Montgomery

Category Manager, Scotland Excel
Grant has worked with Scotland Excel for 12 years overseeing around 20 collaborative framework contracts covering fleet, roads, environment and ICT. This portfolio of framework contracts has an overall contractual value of over £1bn.

Murray MacPherson

EV & Renewables Director, Munro Wilson
Murray runs Munro Wilson, a Borders-based renewable energy installation business. Munro Wilson help householders and businesses get rid of anything that burns oil, installing heat pumps, solar PV and electric vehicle charging. As part of inspiring and enabling this change, Munro Wilson is committed to a 100% electric fleet, operating the Citroen e-Dispatch vans for all installation work.

Mathew Kiziuk

Regional Manager for Fleet Sales and Dealer Development for Harris MAXUS UK
Mathew Kiziuk was appointed Northern Regional Manager for Fleet Sales and Dealer Development for Harris MAXUS UK, part of The Harris Group. With 17 years’ experience in the auto trade including 7 years’ working with electric vehicles, Mathew has been heavily involved in the EV revolution, including within his former role as Regional Development Manager at Renault UK as well as his involvement with The EV Café.
