Our speakers are all considered to be at the top of their game and, collectively, have most of the tools you need to ensure that you will be able to reach your net zero targets. Here’s who will be joining us on the day:

Tony Chalk

Head of Fleet, Police Scotland
Tony Chalk has been in Police Fleet Management for over 20 years, joining from Northgate Vehicle Rental where he was a Regional Manager. In 2013, as Head of Fleet he successfully merged the 10 legacy Police fleets in Scotland to create one national fleet department with over 3500 vehicles. This resulted in the standardisation of the fleet and a national fleet management ICT and telematics system installed in 3000 vehicles.

Sally Stolworthy

Senior Policy Advisor, OZEV
Sally currently works in the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV). OZEV is a cross-government team (DfT and BEIS) working to move the UK vehicle fleet away from the internal combustion engine to Zero Emission Vehicles.

Sally leads on the Government Fleet Commitment which is one of the Greening Government Commitments. This involves supporting Central Government to move its 40,000 cars and vans to 100% zero emission by 2027 to meet the commitment.

Graham Allan

Partnership Manager, Institute of the Motor Industry
As Partnership Manager at the IMI, Graham is an experienced business development professional, joining the business with 12 years’ experience working in further education with a particular focus and passion for apprenticeships which led to roles as Head of Apprenticeships & Employer Engagement in high performing FE colleges. Prior to this, Graham enjoyed a 12-year career in the automotive sector, starting as an apprentice himself and culminating as an aftersales manager in a franchised dealership.

Mathew Kiziuk

Regional Manager for Fleet Sales and Dealer Development for Harris MAXUS UK
Mathew Kiziuk was appointed Northern Regional Manager for Fleet Sales and Dealer Development for Harris MAXUS UK, part of The Harris Group. With 17 years’ experience in the auto trade including 7 years’ working with electric vehicles, Mathew has been heavily involved in the EV revolution, including within his former role as Regional Development Manager at Renault UK as well as his involvement with The EV Café.

Ellie Croft

Energy and Sustainability Officer - Property & Facilities,  Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service
In November 2020, Ellie joined Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service as their Energy and Sustainability Officer. Her role includes reporting the Service’s Carbon Footprint and driving Carbon Reduction Projects across both improvements to the building estate and through the installation of electric vehicle charging points.

Darren House

Head of Operational Assets, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service
Darren began his career with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service as an apprentice vehicle technician and has since undertaken many different roles within the corporate / support services function. He is also responsible for an on-call team responding to operational fire and rescue incidents that allows Darren great insight into the workings and needs of operational colleagues.

Ben Copitch

Director of Business Development, Traffilog
As one of the founders of Traffilog UK, Ben has been working with fleet managers and fleet owners in order to improve driver and vehicle performance. This experience ranges from working with vehicle manufacturers and leasing companies implementing predictive and preventative maintenance solutions to working with large fleets to improve safety and efficiency using driver and vehicle performance data.

Craig Cooke

Executive Director of Strategic & Digital Integration/Deputy Chief Ambulance Officer, West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust
Craig joined the former Warwickshire Ambulance Service as a Cadet in 1990 before going on to qualify as a paramedic; a qualification he has held to this day and continues to use operationally treating patients. He has undertaken various roles in front-line operations and also in the control room before working his way to the rank of the Director of Operations prior to the merger of the former ambulance service with West Midlands Ambulance Service in 2006.

Mel Clarke

Customer Services Director - Operations, National Highways
Mel’s early career in senior management with Her Majesty’s Courts & Tribunal Service paved the way for a new career in the roads sector. Starting as an Operations Manager with National Highways (previously known as Highways England), she helped establish the West Midlands traffic operation before taking on national operations senior management roles, and then stepping up to act as Interim Executive Director for customer operations, leading National Highways 365 day 24/7 national traffic operation.

James Mackintosh

Public Sector Manager (Toyota & Lexus) - Toyota GB PLC
James joined Toyota in November 2018, to oversee the north of the UK, handling their public sector fleet and business customers. With extensive experience in the fleet industry under his belt, through his time with Nissan GB and JCT600, his knowledge has become integral in communicating Toyota’s Self Charging Hybrid Technology to SME’S and Public sector organisations across the north and Scotland.

Dr Chris Jardine

Technical Director - Joju Charging
Dr Chris Jardine is the Technical Director of Joju Charging.  Chris is responsible for ensuring technical quality at Joju, to ensure the products we install are of the highest standards.  He is also a Senior Lecturer at Oxford University’s Environmental Change Institute and is an expert in energy systems and measures for climate change mitigation.

Jo Osborne

Regional Commercial Director (Fleet), Blue Light Commercial
Jo was the Director of Procurement for the forces of Yorkshire and Humber. She played a lead role in the establishment and implementation of the Regional Procurement Team there, transitioning and transforming four disparate transactional teams into one harmonised category management function.

Kim Harrison

Senior Category Lead, Fleet, Crown Commercial Service
Kim has worked in public sector commercial roles for more than 12 years, including in further education, health and government. Kim has specialised in Fleet for the past 8 years, with CCS and as part of the wider Government Commercial Organisation. 

Phil Killingley

Deputy Head, Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV)
Phil is Deputy Head of the UK Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), which is responsible for a multi-billion pound programme to drive uptake of zero emission vehicles in the UK.  He has worked for OZEV since 2016, leading teams on overall strategy, vehicle incentives, public communication, local delivery and innovation.
